Visa Check Card Security

Protect Your Card
Your safety is our priority. Safeguard your card and transactions by following these simple safety tips.

  • Do not write your PIN on or near your card. Do not share it with anyone. Bank representatives do not have access to your PIN and will not ask for it.
  • Choose ATMs in highly visible, well-lit locations and have your card ready.
  • Survey your surroundings and avoid locations where people are loitering nearby.
  • Block the keypad from view to prevent anyone from seeing you enter your PIN
  • After completing your transaction, always take your card and receipt with you.
  • If your card is lost or stolen or to report suspicious card activity, call (757) 934-8200 immediately. After hours, call (800) 500-1044.
